About Me

Hello! I'm Andrew Chung, an incoming Masters Student at Columbia University with a keen interest in Software Engineering, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning. I previously attended Emory University for my Bachelors, graduating with Highest Honors in Computer Science with a Concentration in AI.

Some of my past experiences include researching at Emory NLP where I completed my senior thesis on RAG systems, as well as interning at MagMutual Insurance Company where I developed a memo generation system and chatbot for internal legal documents. I strive to find a universal solution to developing these systems, and hope to continue to develop cutting-edge systems.

Outside the lab or the classroom, you'll find me exploring photography, vibing to the latest Kendrick Lamar album, or on the hunt for great food. I'm always eager to learn, build, and share what I discover along the way.
